A routine service like a MRI shouldn’t cost more simply because it is provided at a hospital-owned facility instead of an independent doctor’s office. Hospitals and independent practices can provide the same care, but hospital-owned facilities can receive much higher payments for the same services. Tell North Carolina lawmakers: Same care, same cost.
