A routine doctor’s office visit shouldn’t come with a hospital price tag. Some hospital systems charge extra “facility fees” for everyday care like primary care visits, checkups and other services — simply because the doctor’s office is owned by a hospital system or located on a hospital campus. Tell North Carolina lawmakers: Stop unfair facility fees and help make healthcare more affordable.
